I can't seem to fall asleep, today was a great day... I was very productive and had a fun din-din with one of my friends... yet I can't seem to fall asleep... perhaps I am still on Texas time ;) I realized today how little time I've been spending online blogging and such, I think I need to spend more quality time participating in social networking and sharing... Because, sharing is caring! :o) Honestly, I am just very excited of what possibilities are held in this upcoming year, perhaps that is why I can't sleep tonight, too many ideas running through my head... (sigh) All good ideas though :) ...goodnight y'all!
A sporatic decision, but a good one, I think... I've joined a wine club... with my sweetie pie of course. I started off at Gary's Wine Library to look at some wines. Then I joined the wine club at Wine Insiders for just $20 a month. Lastly, I created an account at Cork'd so I can start a wine journal. It's a great free site! Last night was definitely the best surprise birthday party ever! I was so glad to see everyone come out and pitch in to help wish my friend a happy birthday... it was so much fun! A special thanks to Datalore and Bluefox for their 'technical expertise'. I couldn't stop laughing the whole time... ok, except for the part me waiting for half and hour with the cake! LOL ...but I blame that entirely on Daniel B. (just kidding)... anyhow.. a huge thank you for everyone who collaborated on the 'evil plan' with me... it was so worth it! I was coming home a little bit ago and almost had a big accident! :( Yes, it was very scary... I was going down a hill and lost control over the car - the breaks & gas were useless! It's snowing and it's icy... and the plows haven't been out yet. But there isn't a lot of snow on the ground, so I guess that is what caught me off guard. I was about in 1/2 a foot away from hitting a brick building! Yikes! Luckily, somehow... the car finally stopped and I was able to drive home in a safe manner. I guess my guardian puppy (the upgraded version of a guardian angel...lol) was watching out for me! Now I am just looking forward to snuggling up in bed. Nitey nite! :o)
